Markku Silén

Work Experience

For the last six years Markku Silén has been working as the Managing Partner for Andersen Consulting Finland. In the last two years his main areas of focus have been developing market entry strategies for international companies, partnering/alliance processes, mobile Internet applications and building virtual, innovative organizations. Markku Silén is leading also the Helsinki Business launch Center, which is helping new start-up companies to create their business plan, establish their operations and grow internationally. His key clients have been in Communications and High-Tech industry sector. In 1987-1994 Markku Silén was the Managing Director for an international software services company. In 1980-1987 he was working as the IT Director for an international computer manufacturer. In 1997-1999 Markku Silén was the Chairman of the Board for the Finnish Management Consultants Association.
